We bought Steiko's coniferous substrate home. In use for more than three years. The floor does not creak, it does not crack anywhere (by the way, it protects the castle connection). When I chose, in reviews I read from many that sound insulation is good, I bought it for these purposes, but I could hardly believe it until I tried it.

We don’t really hear neighbors. although before it was something from the realm of fantasy, since there are old people who do not speak, but yell. I'm not saying anything about the TV. In a word: SATISFIED and RECOMMENDED!

By chance, in a store, I came across substrates from the Isoplat company, I had never heard of them before, so I became interested. the seller told about them, and recommended taking it. did not take risks, bought only 1 room. There were no problems with laying the substrate, because it is obedient, easy to cut, no special skills are needed with it.

For 1 day I laid it, and on top of the laminate. The result even surprised, because the sounds became quieter and more deaf. He went down to the neighbors to listen to how music plays from me, the sounds were barely audible. delight! This week I’ll go to other rooms for substrates.

Prior to that, the old laminate floor was lying on the floor, which caused an eternal roar in the apartment and the neighbors constantly scandalized us. When repairing, the foreman advised buying these substrates under the laminate, as the soundproofing is chic, plus it has an eco-friendly composition. I bought it in one room at first, in order to "protest", they put it down, and I was in a pleasant shock, because the sounds were really dull. Naturally I bought the same company for the rest of the rooms. Now the apartment is quiet) And as a bonus, the floors have become warmer, and we no longer wear slippers.

Laminate is not laid without a substrate, but under the parquet this is a relative innovation, because they did not do it before. Nevertheless, after reading some clever tips, I decided to buy Isoplat backing, and lay it under a new parquet (more precisely, first the backing, then the plywood, the parquet was glued to it).

It has become much warmer, we live on the ground floor, so I can’t appreciate the sound insulation, but the old parquet laid in the late 90s has already become wet, I hope this will not happen with the new one, I put the film on the rough floor, as advised in the store.

A big plus was the lack of a chemical smell, it was at first some kind of woody, but left in 2 days. I also have no complaints about the quality.

When they made repairs, all materials, down to the substrate, tried to take natural origin. The flooring was not taken in an array, it was simpler, but nevertheless close to a natural tree by its nature - a parquet board. They wanted to take the cork substrate, but they dissuaded us, because it does not tolerate moisture and begins to rot if water gets on it. As a result, Isoplast was put into all the rooms. This substrate is made of fiberboards on resins of conifers. One of the main advantages is natural ventilation. In this case, the substrate is moisture resistant, absorbs noise, retains heat and allows you to level the floor.

The screed was originally not perfectly made for us (differences by more than 2 mm). The substrate solved this issue. Now we can’t get enough of it for repairs in general and for this substrate in particular.

In my family, 2 little tomboys who tirelessly run after each other around the apartment, with their clatter, they always inconvenience to neighbors living below us. To solve this "noisy" problem, before laying a new laminate, laid on the floor 5 mm. sound insulation layer Isoplaat. In installation, it is simply elementary and does not require any special construction skills (without any labor, he cut it and laid it on the floor). On top of the created layer of noise insulation, and put the laminate!

For the sake of interest, I asked the children to run (they were glad to stomp on the floor with impunity), and he went to listen to how this “running around” would be heard from the neighbors. My neighbors and I were incredibly glad that during the children's “races” from my apartment, there was nothing not heard! My neighbors and I are very pleased with this noise isolation.

I am engaged in apartment renovations for about 5 years. Quite recently, I completed the repair of an object whose owner agreed to carry out repairs, but only on the condition that ISOPLAAT will be laid as a substrate on the floor. I immediately realized that a person is well versed in building materials and their environmental friendliness. I put ISOPLAAT at home, since this material is made from natural ingredients, and everyone’s favorite low-cost polystyrene is a low-quality polymer, which eventually gets into the respiratory system with dust particles and negatively affects health. With great pleasure, completed the facility, the customer was satisfied. Recently he called me and boasted that the substrate on the floor had not sagged where.
