At the wedding, my parents presented an apartment with a ready-made kitchen (chipboard body, mdf facades in a matte plain film), then 15 years ago I didn’t really go into what kitchens are made of and what operating and maintenance rules are necessary, and therefore I used my kitchen without any of knowledge, as it is necessary in general, and rubbed the soap by various means, actively preparing it on a gas stove, in the oven, and in a double boiler. In 12 years! the countertop swelled around the sink, they decided to change the countertop and facades, because they were tired of the bright blue color, although the facades themselves were in very good condition, the film did not go anywhere. The company proposed to make a completely new kitchen, because the kitchen is already 12 years old, but this will not greatly affect the cost.
We agreed, ordered a completely new kitchen chipboard + MDF facades in film. By the way, I also sold the old kitchen for a decent amount (1/4 of the cost of the new kitchen), the customers just put in a new countertop. We have been using the new kitchen for almost 3 years, the film is in place, nothing has gone anywhere. It’s easy to look after, I’m satisfied. I think most of the negative reviews about the kitchen with MDF facades in film due to unscrupulous manufacturers and poor quality work.
pros
Value for money, durability, many colors
Minuses
The embossed surfaces of the facades are more difficult than smooth ones to wash off dried spots.
