My grandfather considered an ax to be the main tool in his house, and his father a hammer. But over time, values change, and for me the main thing is a cordless drill / driver.
When choosing, I wanted to combine the most powerful, most reliable, cheapest unit on the market. The most powerful and inexpensive combined on the DA-13 / 18M3 from Interskol.
So far, nothing has worked, but 2 months in the village is already a good application for the title of the most reliable.
Good batteries - they charge quickly, only an hour, enough for a long time, in the cold, as it seems to me, they don’t even lose anything. True, the batteries are nickel-cadmium, so you have to make sure that they are charged and discharged to the end.
If it stops drilling or twisting, then I twist the rest of the tank at idle. About ten times a minute, until it stops turning completely - the battery runs down almost to the end, you can put it on charge.
In two months, they gained a little.
They hung a net under the roof in the hayloft - they dried the grass's wife - they twisted them under a hundred screws.
Hole made more than six hundred. In the wall of the workshop he made holes for chopiki - 15 rows of forty pieces - exactly six hundred. 10 mm holes, they are inserted into them, where there are simply choppers, where are the traffic jams with hooks, where is the shelf, the tool is suspended on them - evenly and beautifully. Well, about twenty to thirty holes still typed.
It is also pleasing that this is not German, not Japanese, not Chinese, ours is a Russian manufacturer. A very convenient tool, although it is heavy. And much more important today than a hammer and an ax.
pros
Price, power, two speeds, keyless chuck, spindle lock, quick charger (1 hour), quality assembly
