I would like to vote for the purchase of a cast-iron bathtub with both hands! Firstly, I see the reliability of such a bath in its complete “stationarity” - there is no doubt that it will turn over when you enter it. This contrast is especially noticeable after immersion in a steel bath. Secondly, it is in the cast-iron bath that you can lie down for a rather long time, without adding hot water (to maintain a comfortable temperature), and at the same time do not dilute priceless aromatic foams and other additives.
I can not fail to note that the enamel is very good, smooth, without any “sagging”, and even with silver ions! Since I am a lady of high stature and appropriate weight, but do not experience any discomfort when immersed (quite roomy).I have a Yumika model, 1700 × 750 mm.
When I had the opportunity to buy such a bath, without regret I said goodbye to the newfangled acrylic.
pros
Stability, pleasant enamel surface.
