In the apartment, my husband and I chose Armstrong Marmorette LPX, a German production. We had to spend money, but the color scheme and characteristics of linoleum convinced us. Buying such linoleum cost a pretty decent amount. My wife, having read information about its environmental friendliness, persuaded me to buy for a children's room, since there was no trust in the laminate, and they did not want to lay something like a carpet because the latter was collecting dust. I did not understand the issue and bought, thinking simply that it would cope with its styling myself. Everything turned out to be not easy - I had to entrust the laying with a private master and plus the cost of filling the floor. It turned out that the floor is not suitable for linoleum, it is impossible to lay a lining under it. I had to flood the floors, at the same time the master and glued linoleum.

I cannot say anything bad about the quality. The only color burns out. During the year of operation, nothing has visually changed, but when my daughter bought an adult computer desk, a color change was noticeable in the place of the old children's room. Since I had to learn in detail about this linoleum, it pleases the fact that the child has environmental materials in the room. Unfortunately, at the moment, everything that is useful and harmless costs quite a lot of money. If you are ready for expenses, then linoleum is expensive. And not only himself, but also everything connected with him. As I was told, such linoleum has less tensile strength, so the floor should be perfect.We had a good floor, but it was not enough. Plus the cost of glue - it is also special on a natural basis and costs 3 times more than usual.

Linoleum is easy to clean, even traces of felt-tip pens are laundered. It does not cause harm to health. The coating composition includes beeswax dye, linseed oil, etc. Despite this, there is no smell. The children's room is on the sunny side, glad that the linoleum did not fade in the sun.

The cost of natural linoleum, an order of magnitude higher than ordinary linoleum. 1 square meter can be bought for 1200 rubles, but there are cheaper.

It is very difficult to lay such a coating on your own, it is better to entrust this business to professionals. If the store does not offer you specialists, then I do not recommend laying linoleum yourself! The problem is that it breaks at the folds. I spied a bit on the work of the craftsmen who laid linoleum for several long hours. You need to glue natural linoleum on a special glue, cook the seams with a hairdryer. In general, the work is very long, tedious and painstaking.

Fortunately, it was not we who made it, so I see only pluses in natural linoleum.
