I liked the diesel 900th Carver at the stage of testing it in the store. One had only to start the engine, and I understood from the sound - a powerful and reliable car. Then he determined its other virtues.

Thanks to the presence of the power take-off shaft, this is a universal machine that connects to many additional mechanisms and devices. For example, in winter, a snow attachment helps me cope with snow blockages near the house and on the street. The diesel engine pulls well, leaving behind all gasoline powered walk-behind tractors. Reliable gear reducer eliminates slippage as in the case of brothers with a belt drive. It is not unimportant that Carver has an air filter that increases its life. I also consider a decent tank to be an advantage, which eliminates the need for frequent refueling. I conclude - a good car with virtually no flaws.

I do not see any cons.

Carver 900 is a great walk-behind tractor. It has many advantages - a powerful engine, reliable transmission, many adjustments. Works great together with the trolley allowing you to transport significant loads. He is also capable of milling heavy soils, including those covered with turf, or plowing them to great depths. From experience, I can say that even with a heavy load, there are no signs of motor overheating, so you can work continuously without interruptions for rest-cooling of the motor. Starts up easily, from the first jerk of the cord, so the lack of an electric starter is not a drawback, but rather increases the reliability of the unit. The disadvantages include not very comfortable steering grips and far-placed control levers, although it all depends on who is used to it. I can advise you to buy this particular brand and this particular model, combining good price and quality.

I've been dealing with walk-behind tractors for about fifteen years.I tried many models, both Russian and foreign, and came to the conclusion - regardless of the price and popularity of the manufacturer’s plant, after 2 years of operation, you either need to sort out or change the motor. But there is an exception this is the Ural CARVER. For almost five years he has been working with me, regardless of the season, like a draft horse day after day. He has enough work on my small farm. According to my calculations, it should have been “formed” two years ago, but so far no signs of wear are visible, except that I began to take more oil and maybe the thrust slightly decreased.

Of course, my relationship with him did not just start, work, drown out. Periodically I carry out maintenance and adjustments. Complex repairs, too, could not have avoided changing gears in the transmission that were worn out. But still, such a durability of the motor is surprisingly. I became a fan of this brand and I recommend this walk-behind tractor to others, especially if you need it every day, and not just once a year to transport a few bags of potatoes.

Carver MT 900 is truly versatile. Many motoblocks that offer, in fact, have limited capabilities and are intended exclusively for plowing or tillage with a milling cutter or for transport work. My MT 900 has a power take-off shaft, so it has a much wider scope. I cling to him and the mower and potato digger. In addition, he adapted a makeshift belt drive on the PTO and at the construction site he worked for me as a concrete mixer drive. So today I get 100% return from it.

What do I like about him yet?

Much:

- Turnable and adjustable stand with control knobs.
- That it is mounted not a belt, but a gear, more reliable main gear. True, the gearbox housing is cast-iron and increases the mass of the walk-behind tractor, but on the other hand, cross-country ability increases without a hitch of counterweights.
- The presence of reverse and 4 gears. This is convenient not only when the hitched gun should move against the usual direction of movement of the walk-behind tractor (by the way, the steering wheel makes the car “pull-push” in general) but also when maneuvering with a trailer in cramped conditions.
- Reliability - in eight months more than one breakdown.
