I have an office in the basement of an apartment building. The upper alcoholic neighbors are constantly flooding. Pongs Mattol stretch ceilings recommended by a colleague help save on repairs. They survived more than one flood, but look super. In the hardly noticeable leaks, because of which you have to regularly wash the wall panels, I think the installers are to blame. I'm glad, although at first I doubted the choice.
A little embarrassed by the high cost: it was not clear what qualities the ceilings would show. But the installation went quickly (the workers managed for three hours), the surfaces looked very decent, so it calmed down. However, not for long: for about a month and a half, I and the employees were tormented by a faint, murderously sweet chemical smell, the drawings in the daylight turned out to be somewhat faded, spoiled by small defects (“stars”, cracks). But the era of the "spotty" ugly ceiling has ended.
pros
beauty, convenience and speed of installation, the ability to qualitatively retain water and at the same time maintain a normal appearance
Minuses
an outrageously high premium for haze, a long, eerie smell, a pattern mismatch with the catalog version, minor structural disturbances
