Windows and Exprof profile (Exprof)

About a year ago, I installed windows from the Exprof AeroTherma profile in the apartment, the profile I chose was massive, 101 mm wide, a double-glazed window with 36 mm. I tried to take everything to the maximum, firstly, I think it is more reliable and the budget allows, secondly, the house has very wide walls.

When buying, I was told about a special ventilation system made in the frame, due to which the air circulates along the profile and leaves the room already warmed up. In practice, this system works perfectly, a pleasant microclimate is created in the rooms, and there is no greenhouse effect. Throughout the winter, the windows have never fogged up, there is no condensation.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fastening of mosquito nets. These windows have one feature, the frame is made with a slight slope and due to this, the mesh is not fastened with conventional fasteners, but with springs. As a result, a small gap remains between the grid and the window.
Otherwise, Exprof windows are functional, practical and in terms of quality and are priced well.

In that year, the Aerotherm series put in the window hall (Exprof profile). I really liked that the frame has a width of as much as 101 millimeters. The double-glazed window chose with two cameras and a width of 3.6 cm.

During the operation, I found out that:

-profile of windows, refers to frost-resistant (on the film, everywhere it was “M”), and even our winters have 25 degrees of frost, the windows withstood without problems.

- the windows are equipped with a ventilation system (it can be seen in the lower / upper part of the frame), so that the windows do not “sweat” and condensation does not collect.

- due to the large slope, mosquito nets (which the company gave us as a present) are attached not like ordinary windows into grooves, but to “dystrophic” springs, due to which the mesh does not fit snugly against the window in the summer, all mosquitoes "Stay" with me! Then, they themselves screwed the grid to ordinary screws.
In general, I am pleased with the windows!

Exprof profile, consumer properties of which depend on the cleanliness of the manufacturer. The manufacturer will fix the marriage, remove minor flaws, snow-white blanks, massive, flexible and at the same time persistent. One drawback: when replacing a double-glazed window, glazing beads are extremely difficult to take out, there is a risk of damage to the base.

If the window manufacturer is lazy, a lot of defects come out. Sometimes the geometry of glazing beads is broken. You connect it to the frame, at the junction there is a wave. Often sealing gum disgusting quality. Dangling, weak.Do not push, do not pull on corners. And too pointed ends of glazing beads, which cannot be tightly closed with a profile, and recesses arising due to poor dissolution of raw materials!
