In a little over two years, our family council decided to replace the windows. This question arose because the old wooden windows were in poor condition. After consulting with friends, we decided to purchase and install the windows of the German brand "Gealan". By the way, my friends previously installed the same windows that they recommended to us. They used the services of a company that installed them to install windows. A company representative arrived at home, made the necessary measurements, and then placed an order for the installation.

After installing the windows, there are no complaints about them. On the plus side, I want to attribute excellent sound insulation, now in the house you can’t hear sounds that previously came from a nearby sports ground. In addition, in the winter the apartment became much warmer and did not “blow” cold air from the windows. The outer side of the windows did not burn out and did not turn yellow, therefore it retains a beautiful appearance. And curiously, dust does not accumulate on the windowsills.

Since I live in a cold region of the country, I bought a five-chamber window profile S7000 IQ. A rather massive construction that allows you to retain heat and isolates the noise of city streets. I bought a window more than three years ago. I can summarize: it has not turned yellow, the accessories work softly and do not creak. The window has not lost its appeal. The room became much warmer. The window does not require serious maintenance, you do not need to paint and glue it for the winter. With the shortcomings, I would single out only the price of the model and installation. Later, by the way, I saw in a similar profile cheaper. But, I needed to urgently change the window, and if there is time, then, of course, it is better to google and search a little cheaper.

Old wooden windows began to pass the cold, a fungus began to appear on them ... In a word, they decided to change the windows to more modern ones - metal-plastic. There wasn’t much money. Therefore, we chose from inexpensive options that have long established themselves in the market. They bought Gealan, only not those that are made in Germany are difficult to find, but in the territory of the Russian Federation. Of course, they were worried. After all, they could, somewhere, and cheek. Windows stand for about a year, a five-chamber profile and a 2-chamber double-glazed window proved to be good. The temperature in the room rose by 3 degrees, which, of course, pleases. The hardware is pretty sturdy. The husband was engaged in the installation. A little tormented. But, in general, the windows pleased.We think that it’s five years (their warranty period will definitely serve), and there time will tell. Do not forget that after all, not the Germans did.
