Before this winter, the question has arisen of replacing window frames. I bought the apartment a long time ago, but so far the old still Soviet windows have been arranged. For some reason, over the summer, they began to crumble. I sorted through the options for a long time, a very cheap product does not mean quality, according to the recommendations, and, having studied the characteristics, settled on SCHUCO. To be completely honest, I’ll also note that in our city there is a company that provides significant discounts on this profile. According to the results of winter, I note - the thermal insulation is excellent, frost on the windows was not observed, the apartment became much warmer. But (few people know about it), air exchange has not deteriorated either. Compared to the neighbors who have the cheapest frames and are constantly stuffy, my air is no worse than with old wooden windows.You can also note the quality fittings, absolutely no backlash.

It’s good that the technology does not stand still, but as you recall the old flaky, but skewed frames made of wood, it immediately becomes terribly (and how did you live then, I can’t imagine?). Before every winter, it was necessary to "plug" with cotton, and stick it over with newspapers - now it’s just ridiculous to remember, and then just try not to do it.

It’s so good that all this was left in the distant past. Recently, we installed new plastic windows from the manufacturer Schuco. With their appearance, I don’t know any problems (don’t stick, but “poke” with cotton, do not need to do anything), from new windows, I’m just indescribable delight. They are snowy white, despite the ultraviolet and precipitation. Swivel mechanisms work smoothly (no need to pull anything with force). Everyone, except the price, is very happy, like an elephant !!!

In 2006, he bought an apartment still Soviet-built, the apartment had old wooden windows that could not cope with heat and sound insulation. Our weather is relatively mild, in summer it reaches + 30ºС, in winter up to -20ºС, there are strong gusty winds, moreover, the windows on the south side of the house face the street with constant traffic. Therefore, the first decision was to replace the old windows with new metal-plastic ones. After some consultations and talking with specialists, I chose SCHUCO windows.

More than 7 years have passed, I am very pleased with the windows, the apartment is very warm, it does not blow from the windows, the noise insulation at the windows is excellent, I can hardly hear transport on a busy street. The handles are still working smoothly, not loose, the tightness is also excellent. For all these years I have never contacted the company’s service, although it’s free, there’s simply no need.
