Gardian Locks - user reviews and ratings

Reliable protection
A comment
Recently we lost the key to the door and had to call the emergency opening master. The master set to work and it turned out that they had already tried to open our door before this! This was a complete shock for us. Moreover, recently only the lower Guardian lock was closed the door, since the apex larva was out of order.

Of course, the price is 5/5. Thank you for the quality and safety of our home!
PS: in addition, the master tried for a very long time to open this lock (about an hour) and could not do without noise. I had to work as a screwdriver. Locks changed and the choice fell naturally on the guardian.

The trouble with the lock model 12.01 happened suddenly
A comment
Today I come home, I insert the key into the 12.01 guardian lock, and it scrolls, although rotate it a hundred turns - the door does not open. Well inside were people and discovered. I had to replace the larva. And this with a guarantee of five years, the castle worked only a year and a half. After the repair, of course at its own expense, the door is locked with effort. Of course it is small, otherwise the children will not get into the house, but it is rather tight, which causes a lot of complaints among the family. If possible, we try not to use this lock. Externally, the elements and fittings of the castle look great, which can not be said for the equipment and materials from which the fasteners are made. I had to additionally buy high-quality screws in the hardware

I use two locks of the guardian 21-14 and 20.05 the experience is twofold
A comment
For more than a year I have been using two Guardian products. The padlock on May 20, was purchased due to the considerable thickness of the door, its larva protruded by 55 mm. At that time, the seller could not offer me anything else at an affordable price. I also decided another mortise lock, model 21.14, to buy the same company, about which I repeatedly regretted in the future.
I use the internal lock, unlike the overhead lock, quite intensively. About 20 closure openings per day. I lubricate the locks periodically, first with lithol, and now the VD40 because I came across rather “noisy” and jammed models. However, during the year of operation, I had to drill a larva from a mortise lock, which stuck with the door closed. Not too happy with the quality of the products.

Model 2514 cannot be repaired
A comment
I tried to open the Guardian castle 2514, which worked for a whole year. the attempt was unsuccessful because two of the 6 screws did not loosen. Cranked from the start. The cylinder mounting screw had to be turned several times, one way or the other, since the latch of the tongue in the larva was turned in the other direction. From this, the slot on the screw completely vomited, I had to look for and replace it with a screw made of normal metal. The only advantage of this lock handle and lining. There is no confidence in the mechanism itself after working with it, despite the manufacturer's assurances that its products meet all the guests and 4 categories of security and protection against hacking. I decided to replace the lock with a product made of better metal.
pros
good fittings.
Minuses
low-quality metal.

Guardian locks - high quality and durability
A comment
Four years ago, they acquired an armored, anti-theft door of a luxury class. Complete with it were two locks of the Guardian company. The upper one is closed externally with a lever key, and from the inside with a special handle, and the lower one with a key on both sides. Both locks are mortise, have a smooth running and are not difficult to open, which is very helpful, since our daughter, a primary school student, can now open the doors on her own, without excessive effort. In addition, when opened, the mechanisms do not emit loud sounds. This is very important, because recently we had a son who has a very sensitive dream. Both locks are equipped with an overlay to cover the hole. The only drawback is the rather quick loss of the elegant look. On the surface of the decorative lining, scratches remain even from the smallest exposure.
pros
Price,
quality,
anti-burglary.
Minuses
It quickly loses its presentation.

The quality of both the Guardian 32.11 lock and the door is very high
A comment
I am a financially responsible employee at our company. Naturally, I pay close attention to security issues. The rented room has two entrances. The back door is used almost more often than the main one.

Until recently, he was protected by an old door with a lock of an incomprehensible manufacturer. But having heeded my requirements, the authorities nevertheless deigned to purchase and install a modern armored door with the lock of the Guardian company model 32.11. the door has been used for more than six months, and the operation is quite intense.

So far, some of the flaws in the external handle can be noted. But this can be attributed to a very large load on the door and the lock mechanism. So the acquisition and reliability of the castle is quite happy.
pros
Relatively low cost, reliable design, beautiful appearance.
Minuses
The pen loosened.

The quality of the castle is not only the reliability of the design, but also the culture of production.
A comment
I bought the 3201 Guardian lock for the front door to the apartment, it seems like a normal product. High secrecy, the presence of armor plates, a mechanism well thought out by the designers, but the sales performance of the product is far from the price that is required for it.To begin with, the standard fixing screws are made of raw, non-hardened metal and have crosswise slots.

This practically negates all engineering refinements with secrecy and protection against hacking. The lock becomes almost one-time. I had to change the lock cylinder after losing the key, so the screw fell off a half-turn like plasticine. I had to drill a screw and knock out a larva. And two years after installation and rather careful operation, the crossbars broke off at the castle. After that, the castle was dismantled and sent to a landfill.
pros
It is well protected from breaking.
Minuses
Unreliable, poor equipment.

Gardinan Zirt kilit castle is not the best choice
A comment
In April, there was a nuisance in the stairwell. There was a fire, and our front door was seriously damaged. Naturally, the next was a fire-fighting model JOSHKA with a Zirt kilit lock manufactured by Gaprdian. I must say right away that the door model was not the most successful. Starting from the eye with a disgusting view and ending with the assembly of the entire structure. However, the castle received special attention. Firstly, the turning square turned out to be short and was attached to the handles only on one side. I had to buy a new one, and install it myself. Secondly, after two months of operation, the "dog" falls apart - the return mechanism of the handle. For some reason, he was not in the lock mechanism itself, but was attached directly to the handle under a decorative trim. Given that the material from which it was made is very fragile, it did not last long.
pros
Beautiful design of pens and pads
Minuses
Low reliability, poor completeness

more than three years
