Since the castle was made by Elbor (I don’t remember the brand sold with the door), we decided to take the second one from the same manufacturer. For the door came Elbor Flint 1.04.04. The cost is certainly not comparable with Chinese models, but the build quality and materials do not go to any comparison. The castle was installed by the same master, who opened the old one in the jammed door. It took an hour and a half. At the moment, 5 years have passed, there are no complaints, the lock does not wedge, the key travel is distinct, no extra effort is needed. We are completely satisfied with the purchase, it is unnecessary to say that during this time the door or lock was not opened, so now we can go out into the countryside quietly overnight.

Recently became a victim of an apartment thief. They came home, and the door is open, no signs of breaking were found, the lock is opened with master keys or a selection of keys (the police said so). The castle was immediately replaced, but not with the first one, but with ELBOR GRANITE 1.06.41. the manufacturer guaranteed high quality and reliability of the product and the highest class of protection against hacking.

Literally a few months later the story repeats itself. When I go home, and the door is open, but there are no signs of hacking. The police found that it was the same house as it searched the places that the last time had not time. The company store explained to us that the secrecy of this lock model is 244140625 combinations. This is how much time they had to pick up, a week? However, apparently the thief managed in a few minutes. Be careful, the high class promised by the manufacturer does not guarantee protection against theft.

Previously, I was confident in the reliability of the domestic manufacturer of the company Elbor and their products. Having entered a new apartment, he immediately replaced the lock in the front door with Elbor's BASALT 1.05.59.MA.Despite the fact that this lock is not the cheapest in a series of basalts, it failed several days later - they could not open it with a key from the outside. The master who installed the lock said that as a result of our actions, the mechanism turned half a turn and now it can be opened only from the inside with a handle, and in the open state it is impossible to insert a key into it.

The problem was solved by sawing a groove in the key, inserting and cranking it in the lock - they brought the lock into working position. But after a few months, the castle jammed again. This situation did not suit me and I changed the mechanism to a lock of another manufacturer.

Three years ago, a new armored door was installed, in which Elbor locks were installed by default. What series I can’t say since the documentation is lost. The lower crossbar burst into the castle, which periodically wedged. It was impossible to open the door; I had to shamanize for half an hour in order for the mechanism to work normally. After it was decided to replace the lock, it turned out that such models were discontinued. And modern products do not fit them in external parameters. In addition, the company does not release locks for armored doors that are identical in design. That is, if a lock discontinued breaks down, either select a mechanism from other manufacturers or completely change the door. My attempts to ask a question in the service desk did not respond at all.

Five years ago I bought the Elbor castle from a series of granite, an impressive set of beautiful keys sealed in an envelope 6 Suvald. Recently, it has become a bit buggy: it is impossible to remove the key, stopped opening after half a turn, problems with opening by closing appeared. In general, I decided to make out. Inside were found five levers and two washers instead of the promised sixth. There was no reaction to my letter with photos on the official website of the manufacturer. There was no regional service center in our city that was declared on the site either. So in this case we are not talking about durability, reliability or protection against hacking, but about the usual completeness. And given the large number of videos on YouTube, where 12 Elbor level locks open in 3 minutes, you need to think twice before buying.
