Our workers did not use any sealants to process the joints, since it is indicated on the parquet that the joints are waxed. For 2 years of operation in an ordinary apartment without animals, the floor has become quite frayed. Moreover, there are several strong scratches that should not have occurred in principle. In the corridors, the shine of the laminate dimmed, the whole laminate in small scratches.

The most horrifying thing is that even from a minor hit of water in the gaps, the parquet swells! It seems to be where the water comes from in the apartment? It turns out that a small amount of water constantly falls onto the floor - but the child spilled a little from the cup, then the pot was carried and dripped, and a drop fell on the seam, then it dripped from the clothes dryer, then someone put wet shoes not on the tile, but on the parquet . We have traces of swelling almost throughout the apartment!

The locks may have been waxed, but the decorative chamfers that are made along the edge of the board are not processed with anything, and it is in them that the water does its job, because it accumulates there, and we still would not solve this problem with sealant, since chamfers are obtained on the surface of the floor. And yet - the paint near the chamfers began to wear out, and this is with the laminate 33 wear class! I can imagine what would happen to a laminate if it were placed in some public place, and not in an apartment! In general, I am very upset. Probably in 5 years you will have to change floors again.

I have a Chinese laminate in an old apartment that does not allow this !!! there are perfect joints !!!

The seller said everything was normal .... but the underfloor heating was not laid on technology, and the joints are walking because your substrate is too soft ... the phrase sounded: put it on a hard floor)))

Recently I changed the laminate flooring in the whole apartment (66 with a square meter, minus a loggia, toilet and bathroom). We chose the Kaiser Bamboo laminate and did not regret it! The environmental friendliness of the material was one of the defining points (since there is a child in the house), and this laminate has this undoubted advantage - 90% wood and no PVC. It is quite convenient in laying, as boards are wide and dense (8 mm), locks are small (chamfer U-4), fit well. The boards are well protected from water, plus the sealant used, the substrate and the film under the substrate.

Outwardly it turned out very similar to an array of wood. The design is unusual, but it looks spectacular. By the way, during the time of laying on the boards, the tool was dropped several times - no chips or dents! They spilled water (it even happened that the daughter forgot to wipe it and left it for more than 5 hours) - there are no spots, it does not swell anywhere.

For money, however, it turned out quite a bit: 39.3 square meters. m area, plus the margin for trimming (approximately 45 sq. m taken) multiplied by the price (750 rubles per sq. m) is equal to 33,750 rubles. But the result was worth it!

By the birth of the first-born, my husband decided to convert the room on the second floor to a nursery. For repairs, he ordered only environmentally friendly materials. I reviewed it so much that I can easily write a book about choosing a laminate. Of all the types and varieties of laminate flooring I have ever worked with, I wanted to pay particular attention to the Kaiser laminate flooring from the Original series.

I do not want to advertise it or “promote” its sales in any way. But the laminate is really of excellent quality. I really liked its end locks, they are specially made smaller, which prevent its opening and reduce the possibility of joint deformation.

The board of this laminate is very strong, with increased resistance to all kinds of breaks. I really liked the presence of the side chamfer effect on the boards. These chamfers create the illusion of ordinary boards. In addition, for the "wooden" effect, the surface of the boards is cramped.
