I purchased radiators from this series at the beginning of summer the year before last, completely replaced the heating system in the apartment. And already this year, at the end of the heating season, two radiators began to pass water in the area of ​​fittings.
At first, the paint was slightly swollen, then water began to drip. Over time, the flow seemed to drag on by itself, but the problem did not disappear. Therefore, I decided to remove the radiators and see what happened. As it turned out, the metal cracked in the place where the fitting was screwed.

Most likely, as explained to me in the heating system of our city, this was due to the fact that a special additive was added to the water to prevent the formation of scale. However, it also destroys aluminum alloys, so such radiators can not be installed on centralized heating.

I can not say anything about their use in an autonomous heating system. Outwardly, they look good, fit into the interior, and you don’t have to paint like cast iron.
