My husband and I changed the door about a month ago. They scoured the entire Internet, interrogated all the friends, stopped at the Guardian. For a long time they could not decide on a model. Choose between DS-3U or DS-9. The DS-9 has better sound insulation, but the DS-3U had an armored package and one more stiffening rib, and indeed in the basic configuration the largest, and the price is slightly lower. Therefore, we decided to stay on the second option.

We went to the office on Timiryazevskaya, there they still looked again, as if they had made a choice. We chose the finish, the manager explained everything correctly and helped. The husband insisted that the door was ugly - as if the thieves would think that we had nothing and would not come to us))) The price was not small, but acceptable. After 2 days the measurer arrived. A calm man, did not impose anything, did not bother, calmly worked and answered questions. Quickly issued a contract.

Then, after a while, the installers arrived. At first everyone measured the level for a very long time, I don’t really understand everything about it, they welded something, installed it, then tinkered with the opening. As a result, now everything is in order: it has become noticeably quieter, it has stopped blowing, everything is in order with the locks. So I can recommend it.

I decided to change the front door.The old door was "still that!" - originally from the early 90's. An ordinary piece of iron, slots in a box, without soundproofing and lining upholstery. He lived with this door for 25 years. All these years, he endured noise from the site and the wind on the floor. I began to look for manufacturers. Fortunately I live in Yoshkar-Ola and in the city there are a lot of doorways. The choice, of course, immediately fell on the Guardian, because advertised brand and heard a lot from friends. And the Guardian was already standing in the second apartment. And I decided not to choose or compare competitors. Then it remained to choose a door from the assortment. My selection criteria were simple:

-max sound insulation

- thick door (like massive doors)

-maximum thermal insulation

The choice fell on DS9. Door color black anthracite. This is some new door in the Guardian lineup. I liked her because very fat. Somewhere 10cm thick. And according to its characteristics it is very protective against cold and noise. DS9 seems to be delivered even to northern cities.

Then there were the standard steps. I ordered the door to the Guardian's order desk. Made measurements. And here comes the first negative from the Guardian - the door took 2 weeks to produce! 2 weeks! And I am in Yoshkar-Ola, where this Guardian is located. But they explained to me that such a period was due to the fact that the opening sizes were not standard. Well, okay, I kind of suffered it. Quickly calmed down and began to wait for his awesome door DS9 with drop dead color.

2 weeks have passed and the day of installation is coming. This is where the solid negativity went towards the Guardians:

1. The door was brought without packaging. Wasn't even wrapped in popping film

2. wrong with the pad on the lock. The installers had to wait for the "special" person who brought this pad

3. the pad on the lower lock installed a little crooked

Further worse. While the installers were busy with my old door, I began to inspect my DS9 door. I did not find anything suspicious. My old door was quickly removed and a new door was put in rather quickly. By the way, here are no complaints about the installation. The guys (and there were 3 of them) did everything quickly and without jambs.

The door was installed and I begin to do the final inspection. It seems that everything went fine until I notice two scuffs from the castle zone. At first I thought it was dirt, but it was not dirt. Something was scratched on my DS9 door, or something was rubbing on it. It seems that they put the door on something and slightly moved it back and forth. I just prigigil from such a specific mess on the side of the Guardian. The door DS9, I tell you, is not budgetary and very disappointing when you notice such a marriage from such a famous company as the Guardian. I have two friends who set themselves doors from the Guardian and are also not budgetary and each of them had problems. One door came without a curtain to the hole in the lock, the other had problems with locks during installation. Now I have become a victim of a very poor service from the Guardians. It’s the same how to disregard customers in order to allow a door with a marriage to be sent. I will never understand that. I myself work as the head of the quality department in an IT company and I know what it is to please the customer. And I did not expect such a really terrible quality from the Guardians. Now I do not know what to do with these scratches, because one of them is at eye level and is very calloused. I already wrote a complaint, but I feel that nothing will be fixed, like the thousands of other people who buy doors from the Guardian.

But the DS9 front door itself is very excellent! Especially in color is black anthracite. The noise isolation is simply excellent and the thickness is like that of a safe door. Here the Guardians are great - they know how to make doors, but the quality is real shit!

Bad service, like a scoop

About six months ago, I met with the company's new Guardian DS-9. The door is insanely beautiful, pleasing with its reliability and quality. The door is equipped with additional stiffening ribs, deviators and armor plate. In fact, this is the same safe, only in the execution of the front door. Outwardly, the door is very beautiful, made "antique".

Cons I can note only from the installers and dealers, unfortunately. The accessories initially chose chrome in color, but it is not clear why one part came to me in gold.

During installation, it turned out that the main lock does not enter the holes. I had to work with a file on it in order to widen at least a little of the hole.
But even despite these shortcomings, I recommend the door is wonderful. And sellers could better fulfill their duties for such a price of goods (gave 84 thousand rubles for the front door).

We bought a resale, in which the Chinese door was of terrible quality, so I decided to change it with my wife. In the door salon, we liked the “Premium” model from the Guardian manufacturer, and the accessories were chosen by the “Resident” in silver. The door with two locks, the lower Guardian, the upper Mauer, the locks are good, they open a little harshly.

Inside, the door is filled with a balsat min stove from Knauf, plus we decided to take the insulated door frame and supplemented everything with a second insulation loop.
Externally, the coating is from conventional spraying, and inside the MDF with a pattern. Hinges decided to install on the bearing.

As a result of all these additions, the door cost more than 40,000. Expensive, but security cannot cost a penny.
The Guardian is a good company, Chinese consumer goods are not near in quality. The guarantee on the doors is 5 years, we have been standing for 4 years and we are sure that it will stand still for more than one year.

I thoroughly approached the choice of the front door, based on the recommendations of friends, reviews on the Internet, and more. As a result, the best option for me was the door of Guardian DS-3U, equipped with:

- five anti-removable clips;
- integrated armored package;
- five stiffeners;
- armor plate (protects the castle from drilling it);
- armor plate (mounted on the lock mechanism).

I chose the interior of the door - anti-vandal laminated veneer, in cherry color. A small mirror is installed in the center, it looks beautiful and interesting. Exterior finish is made of powder coated metal sheet.

I like my front door DS-3U, I believe that this model has a wonderful ratio of price to quality. I bought it for 42000 2 years ago. The cost ranges from the choice of finishes and equipment protection.
