In the first month of 6 kV, the boiler clocked up 5000 kV hours !! three times I called the service service of the company galan, gave them another 11 thousand for the departure and "professional advice". If you already made a mistake and bought this boiler, in no case do not contact them by phone under warranty! Send in plain text. As a result, after 2 months of dealing with this miracle technology and the rude galan desk, I decided to replace the boiler.

The only advantage of the company can indicate the master who came last time and helped to slightly reduce consumption. As a person and master, he took money, as directed by the company, to correct their mistakes.

Profitability is a huge question !!! The cost of the coolant is HUGE, the quality is desired !!! After a year, energy consumption increased markedly. The increase came from the apparent destruction of the properties of the coolant. Three years later, the system clogged with a black, incomprehensible suspension (in Galan they shrugged). My friend has the same situation. It turned out that an expensive coolant works a maximum of a year !!!

Its cost is 3100 per twenty liters, I need 80 liters, and that is 12,400 rubles + electricity consumption. This is an ideal expense for the year. You can use water, but with our interruptions in the electricity supply, you can get on all the heating.I believe that the cost of the coolant should be equal to the cost of the ordinary (especially since there are no special processes in the manufacture, just grab more) or improve the quality declared on your site. Yes, after three years a hole in the boiler rotted and in the middle of winter and cold it flooded the entire floor in the boiler room.

I have been using Galan for about fifteen years. Now stands the second. The boiler is three-phase, but connected to one, so it became possible to choose the number of electrodes included. I have never used a coolant - I pour some water under my arm. Yes, there are small problems, but easily removable. Electricity is eating, of course, but if it goes on like this, it will not be possible to drown, you will have to move to warm countries)))

I have a building of 36 square meters, I bought an electrode boiler Galan Ochag-3, installed it, bought a coolant AquaTrust (conductivity resistance 5 MΩ) (not galan), put the machine in accordance with instructions 16A, after 10 seconds it knocks it out, although the instructions say that the maximum current is 13.7A, as the manager-consultant later said, that this is your trouble, that you need to fill Galan or distilled water into the system (to achieve a conductivity resistance of at least 3.1 KOhm), I think okay well, bought distilled water in a car shop l conductivity resistance = 4 megohms, flushed the system from the old coolant with melt snow water (by the way, the instructions say that it will also work, tried the same parsley) I think now something should not interfere, and will work on distilled water in its own declared characteristics. Before pouring distilled water and starting, as directed by the manager, he removed the electrode and cleaned it to a metallic luster.

In order not to cut it off, I set the automatic machine at 40A, turn it on, it works, I take the current clamp and measure the current, and oh .... it jumps 29-36A, the measurement was made after 30 seconds of operation (according to the instructions). 35Ah220V = 7.7 kW / h, here’s the economical boiler, according to average estimates, 15 tr / month comes out. I have a house of 48 sq. M. Heating stove (Thermofor stove) for the winter we burn one lawn 53 firewood, the price of a firewood machine is 6.5 tr for the winter (8 months), from the above, I will summarize, I was enticed by an attractive advertisement , I think to claim the money back, otherwise I will write to the FAS, let them figure it out, for inaccurate advertising that is misleading, and all the other reviews, it seems that they write to themselves.

I installed a galant boiler in a house of 100 sq.m with temperature sensors for overheating water. He worked for 6 months without problems, he warmed well, there were no problems, and then something happened to him there, closed or something else, as a result he melted the pipes, sawed the liquid on the floor, burned a hole on the wall, it’s good that OSB is off. I wanted to repair it, I did not find shadows on it, they did not repair it under the guarantee. for such big money they sell a simple pipe with shadows inside, it is better to choose a boiler with automatic machines, at the same price, there are more guarantees of security.

It works only on its own coolant; it doesn’t work with others, there are no replacement tenes, expensive in price, no sensors for adjusting the temperature of the liquid and emergency shutdown.

I have a small country house and installed Galan electrode boiler for its heating. In my own, so far little experience of using (about a year), I think that for my case it was the most correct decision. Of course I’m practically not familiar with other heating boilers at heating elements, but I have pretty decent experience in operating boilers with these heaters and I know that they tend to burn out quite quickly and also lose their efficiency due to scale. I haven’t noticed this for this boiler yet.

In addition, Galan is ideal for a summer residence for the following reasons:

A special non-freezing fluid is poured into the system, so it is impossible to defrost pipes even in severe frosts. The house can be heated only when you live in it.

Galan very quickly raises indoor temperatures.

The boiler is compact and even in a small building it is easy to find a place for it.
In addition, (although I personally did not check it, there is nothing to compare with), experts note that electrode boilers are more economical by almost a third of those in which heating elements are used.

We have been using electric heating at home and for three years now the Galan boiler. I didn’t really want to put it right away for the reason that the current flows directly through it in water and there were doubts about its safety. But after looking at the reviews and consulting with specialists, I realized that the concern was in vain.

The second doubt arose because water needs to be prepared for it, but it turned out that a special heat carrier under the same brand as the boiler can be bought and quite inexpensively.

Now impressions:

1. Electricity consumption fell by almost a quarter, which at current prices amounted to quite significant savings.

2. If in old boilers the heating elements had to be changed almost annually, then I have not been repairing this boiler for three years (with the exception of inspections for the purpose of prevention).

3. The boiler warms up the house much faster than the old one on the heating element.

A few years ago, the house in the village was reconstructed, naturally the issue of heating also became. The house is not large, about 90 m2, many options were considered, but still settled on the electric boiler manufacturer "Galan". This option seemed the most convenient to maintain.

The boiler is based on an electrode, which is why water passing through it is heated almost instantly, compared to conventional electric heating stoves. At the same time, the power is the same, but the electrode boiler can heat much more area. For our house, an electrode boiler of 6 kW is enough, and a heating element will be needed in 9 kW. The difference, in my opinion, is palpable.

As for the disadvantages, here we can note the high price of the coolant to the electrode boiler. Well, the rest he is completely satisfied with, saves several winters.

I am very sorry that the Ochag3 boiler was purchased. So much torment with him, just awful ...
I'll start from the beginning, installed according to the instructions, used my native coolant. But a year later the boiler stopped working, the automation relay jammed. Well, and if to speak more precisely, the plastic connection of the electrode and the body has melted. As a result, I am with a non-working boiler, in a cold room and a huge puddle of antifreeze on the floor.

Unfortunately, the warranty is already over. But the representative found out that it was a serial defect, but they still would not change it for me, they offered to buy a new one. What I actually did. But this is only the very beginning, further is better. After 2 months, the situation repeated again. Again the plastic connection melted, what can I say. I called the company, they said they would change it, but it's terrible.
I do not advise! The equipment is terrible.
