I set myself the goal of building a house from environmentally friendly materials, so without much hesitation my choice fell on finished sawdust-concrete blocks with dimensions of 20x20x40. The house is built on 2 floors with an attic with a total area of approximately 200 m². He decided to lay down the walls in one block, so inside he made a reinforcement with a metal frame with the installation of a support column in the center. By the way, sawdust was added to the solution so as not to get a cold bridge. The ceiling was made of wood, so as not to burden the structure, and reinforced with a metal corner.
Inside the wall sheathed with a wooden crate, used a 50x50mm bar, fastened to the wall with dowels through metal corners. Next, the crate was sheathed with high-density wood-fiber boards with a thickness of 12 mm, then I think to install another drywall. The roof was insulated with holofiber. The design of the facade has not yet been decided.
So far I am satisfied with the selected blocks, lightweight, well processed, despite the incomplete construction, a comfortable temperature is maintained in the house.
pros
Excellent heat-saving qualities, easy to process, budget price.
Minuses
Not tested by time, relatively small load bearing capacity
