On the trail. the day almost cried. The rule put the differences up to 6 mm. The bumps had to grind with a grinder with a diamond cup. Now you have to wait until it dries, in order to further align.

Lined the floors under the laminate last summer. Looked at an affordable price, and even on a promoted brand. As a result, the work, of course, was done qualitatively, but the time it took was an order of magnitude more than with another, more expensive mixture.

The only thing to complain about is stirring. The mixture is stirred easily and quickly, until a homogeneous flowing mass without lumps. Evenly distributed over the surface of the base, the largest heaps are accelerated by a trowel, spatula or rule. Then it is rolled several times with a needle roller to expel all air bubbles. The layer thickness was 0.5 cm. It dried quite quickly. Within a few hours I moved along the flooded floor on special studded soles, and the next day, carefully in slippers.

Last year, I had experience working with the Ceresit CN173 Self-Leveling Blend. The main condition was the drying speed, since pouring was carried out in the corridor 6-7 m, where all the doors of the apartment go. The mixture has quite controversial characteristics. With a maximum layer of 60 mm, the setting time is too short. One quality work is almost impossible. Alignment of the mixture takes a lot of time, despite proud positioning as self-leveling. If you are working alone, then you need to knead small portions in ¼ of the bag and observe exactly the proportions of water. Saturation of the solution with water is guaranteed to lead to the formation of cracks on the surface. The rule does not equalize it, too sticky and viscous.

He leveled the floors throughout the apartment with Ceresite. Since the differences and defects were not very large, I chose the CN 69 thin-layer mixture. The preparation of the base was the same in all rooms - the primer, as recommended in the CeresitCT 17 booklet, in two layers. Drying of the first 2-4 hours of the second before pouring for almost a day. First he poured the kitchen and bathroom, the area of ​​11 and 7 m2, respectively. There were no problems with evenness or filling. The room was poured without additional markers or division into sections, in one layer up to 10-15 mm thick.

But when I proceeded to fill large rooms, then the problems began. Room is 26 m2. I dispersed the mixture with a polyurethane trowel, and then equalized it completely with a needle roller. Particular attention was paid to the joints of the layers. The surface turned out to be smooth, dense, without bubbles. When it froze a little, I applied the level and saw a difference of 10 mm almost always at the joints of the fillings. I had to primer and add a layer

He made custom repairs in the kitchen and in the hallway - leveled the floors. I took Ceresit CN175 as a budget option with good quality of a trusted brand. It was especially necessary to try in the corridor, since the kitchen should have tiles, and in the hallway and corridor there is laminate.

After dismantling the old coating, I processed the exposed plate of overlap with two layers of a deep penetration primer Cerez ST17. The process itself is phased in as follows:
Knead the mixture, preferably the bag immediately, strictly following the instructions for the proportions of water. (that's why you need to use the entire bag at once, otherwise you can’t guess with water). The mixture is kneaded quickly and easily, without lumps and extraneous additives.

The finished solution is poured onto the base, and here the MOST IMPORTANT. No need to think that the solution itself will spread over the entire surface and lie evenly, but it must be leveled with a rule or a spatula. Despite the fact that he himself spreads quite well.
