Bergauf Boden Zement Final - the mixture is normal but not for the finish layer
A comment
Boden Zement Final despite the name is quite suitable for preliminary alignment, if there are not too many defects on the basis. An ideal “finish” surface from this mixture, in any case, should not be expected. In addition, do not use a plastic roller, only metal, it sticks too much to the plastic solution. At the same time, the thicker the layer, the less often needles should be. For me, with a casting thickness of 25-30 mm, the roller with a distance between the needles of 1.5 cm worked best. With this thickness, after 10 hours it was possible to move around the floor.
pros
Affordable cost, smooth solid surface.
Minuses
The heterogeneity of the mixture in different batches. I knead in a barrel of 2 bags of water exactly 15 liters. The last two batches with dry mix from another batch were very different in consistency - they were much thicker.

Level for a floor of Bergauf - poorly spreads
A comment
I have worked with Bergauf construction mixes for a long time and I can say with confidence that they are not self-leveling. Despite the fact that the package says "Do it yourself", to work with this mixture you need experience.

Firstly, in no case should you exceed the maximum volume of water, not more than 7 liters per bag. Otherwise, the top layer will be fragile.

Secondly, if the mixture has already been prepared and has settled for the first time, then adding it to the water is categorically not recommended. Fractions will be divided among themselves, pits will appear on the floor, it will become fragile.

Thirdly, if the mixture turned out to be a little dry and has already been poured onto the floor, then you can simply sprinkle a little water on top, and in no case pour;

Fourth, the base must be primed 2-3 times with a deep penetration primer, and then again with concrete contact. Otherwise, with thin layers of 5 mm it may peel off.
pros
The only significant advantage is affordable cost.
Minuses
The mixture does not level out on its own; it is not very suitable for thin layers.

Boden Zement Final bulk floor by Boden Zement Medium layer - full slag
A comment
The Boden Zement Final bulk floor was bred by the maximum water volume figure specified in the instructions. But the self-leveling mixture refused to spread itself. I had to disperse with a spatula. There were no drafts in the room, but after 6 hours of drying, the top layer wrinkled in places. After two or three days of drying, microcracks appeared on the surface, with time they became more and more. A week later, the floor was sanded and primed, all the cracks were darkened, and the floor became as if covered with cobwebs.
pros
gives a flat surface, there are no dimples from bubbles;
Minuses
Although everything was bred according to the instructions, the top layer grasps very quickly;
After rolling with a needle roller, shagreen remains;
The mixture does not spread on its own; dispersing with a notched trowel is quite tedious;
Beats the roughness of the rough screed, after drying, differences of 1-5 mm remain.

half a year
