To repair the apartment I bought the Quick-hardener Prospector up to 80 mm thick.On the packaging and on the site it is written that it is on a cement basis, but in practice it is too light, looks like gypsum additives. For the bathroom I decided not to use it.

Before starting global work - filling a room of 23 sq. M. I decided to experiment and filled some cracks in the cement-sand screed. Knead 2 times in small portions, with different amounts of water. Despite the fact that the second time the mixture was obviously liquid, it did not spread on its own, I had to level it with a wide grater.

In the future, when I filled the room, kneading 2 bags in one go in the barrel. I found the optimal combination of water and dry mix - 6 liters per bag. In such a consistency, the bulk floor is most easily distributed over the surface.

Bulk floor "Prospectors" was used with us to fill the entire apartment. It was recommended by the workers who made the repairs themselves. It was poured onto a cement screed as a finishing leveling coating before installing the laminate. The wizards quickly dealt with the work. In fact, a rather big three-room apartment was flooded in 1 working day. The surface turned out smooth without bubbles and cracks (although these bubbles under the laminate can not be seen).

The floor was very fast, the filling was started and finished on Thursday, and already on Sunday the installation of the laminate began. I was worried that the floor wasn’t dry, and the craftsmen just want to quickly cut some money and go to another object, but before starting work, I myself was convinced that the surface was absolutely dry.

I must say right away that I was dissatisfied with the quality of the work done, but I blame myself exclusively for everything. Very irresponsibly approached the base primer. On some forums, 3 layers of high-quality deep penetration primer were advised, on the other 2 layers of deep primer and one Bcton contact, so that the connection between the floor and the base was better.

I primed only 2 times, taking a primer of not the highest quality, and even quite casually leaving a few unprocessed bald spots in the second layer. And here is the result, the water from the solution at the place of bald spots quickly went into the concrete floor and as a result the floor was faster, but small depressions appeared on the surface compared to the general floor level, I had to add specially purchased thin layer level.

The mixture itself is not distributed on the floor surface on its own, you have to work as a rule, then go through the needle roller again. With a thickness of the working layer of 0.5-2.5 cm, the overspending came out 1.5 bags per 10 squares.

Last summer, I poured bulk floor from the producer Prospectors, the brand Fast-acting the entire apartment (except the bathroom). The total area of ​​about 85 m2. I worked and two more friends. They kneaded each in a separate tub, a bag of the mixture, strictly observing the proportions of water. Due to the fact that they were mixed in turn, the pouring process was continuous. But despite this, some irregularities were not avoided. Then I had to grind the hillocks and additionally fill in the recesses. It should be noted that in the last room there were much fewer defects, so I think the point here is not in the mixture, but in the craftsmanship.

A little tormented with the selection of a tool for alignment. At first he worked as a rule, then a gear roller and finally a simple wooden mop. Mop is the most convenient. It works with the mixture very quickly, the room about 20 squares flooded for 20-25 minutes.
