One of the stages of the overhaul in the bathroom was the filling of a new flat floor. Naturally, we started by removing the old flooring, screed and waterproofing. The result was a good pit with a height difference of 6 cm.

One caveat, during the repair I have to live directly in the apartment, so the material for pouring had to dry in half a day with a layer of 5-6 cm, they are 23 days like most budget materials. Because the need to use the toilet has not yet been canceled.

The bulk floor Ecopol has a specific composition which includes gypsum. This is the reason for this rapid hardening of the solution. In most cases, this does not bring unnecessary difficulties. But there are certain nuances of its use:

The base must be primed very carefully, preferably at least two three layers, otherwise the concrete slab will draw moisture from the solution, which will lead to premature drying in certain areas and the formation of cracks.

Is it possible to dilute according to the instructions, the mixture does not spread at all, if you add a little more water, the mixture will turn out to be too liquid

The resulting surface repeats all the bumps of the old foundation.

Immediately turn to sore. I mixed the building mixture with ecopol according to the instructions 10 l of water per 30 kg bag of dry mix. As a result, it hardened simply unrealistically quickly and without a floor in the kitchen turned out to be layers. After spreading a little thinner, he added somewhere 11 - 11.5 liters of water. The mixture began to dry a little slower, but small cracks appear on the surface in some places. And, despite the fact that with a brown needle roller, insignificant air bubbles still appear quite zealously.

Dries quickly - this is a big plus when filling in small areas.
